Lennart Åqvist (born 1932 in Sweden〔Gerhard Schurz and Georg J. W. Dorn (Editors), (Advances in scientific philosophy : essays in honour of Paul Weingartner on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of his birthday. ) Amsterdam, Rodopi, 1991, ISBN 90-5183-317-2; p. 631〕) is a Swedish logician. He was a founding member of the editorial board of the Journal of Philosophical Logic. Åqvist received his PhD from Uppsala University in 1960 and has subsequently worked at Uppsala as Docent of Practical Philosophy.〔 He is currently a Reader in Practical Philosophy in the College of Law at Uppsala.〔(Lennart Åqvist ), Faculty of Law, Uppsala University.
